@Georgia: Great to hear from you! How is Zoe doing these days?

We love that pack; we've had it since Ian was tiny (which puts it at around 17 years) and we used it quite a bit until Ian was at least 4 when we'd take him hiking and cross-country skiing. It has held up incredibly well and it is adjustable enough that both Deb and I were comfortable wearing it (although neither of us is very tall by any definition, there is enough difference that we wanted something that really would adjust for both of us). It has a sun/weather shade, too. I think the brand is "Tough Traveler" or something like that; we got it from REI. We also have a Kelty that someone gave us; much heaver and more bells and whistles but it doesn't collapse as small and we haven't used it much. This one just works really well. The only downside to that face-down method is the big drool spot on the back of my shirt when she woke up!

We still tote Zoe around in the Ergo, but she's quickly outgrowing it. How do you like your Hiker/Carrier? Is Li able to sleep confortably? Truthfully her face-down method looks just fine. :-)
