We’ve been doing some explaining lately, more it seems as Li becomes (even) more verbal. Some sample topics of interest lately:

• Why it’s probably not OK to put Neosporin on Ian’s toothbrush
• Why we eat chocolate with dinner but not necessarily for dinner (at least not very often, and sometimes a subtle distinction, I will admit)
• Why needing a Band-Aid for a scraped knee is different than when the flamingo (in a book) broke her leg and needed both a cast and a wheelchair (must have been a nasty break!)
